gary_habermas_web“Fifty years ago, CS Lewis remarked that ‘To be ignorant and simple now—not to be able to meet the enemies on their own ground—would be to throw down our weapons, and to betray our uneducated brethren.’ That was fifty years ago. Today, since Christianity is being assaulted on every side, the need for being trained to defend the Christian faith with sophistication is even more urgent. Tyndale’s new program in Christian Apologetics has been carefully designed to meet this pressing need in the church. I cannot recommend it more highly.”

Dr. Gary HabermasDistinguished Research Professor of Apologetics and Philosophy, Liberty

menuge“This well-crafted program offers the philosophical rigor needed to train the savvy, incisive apologists demanded by our challenging post-Christian times. It has both the depth of a serious philosophy program and the breadth of exposure to non-Christian worldviews required to contend for Christ in a pluralistic context.”

Dr. Angus Menuge, President, Evangelical Philosophical Society; Professor of Philosophy, Concordia University Wisconsin University

“I am thrilled to see a program like this offered here in Canada. The excellent selection of courses offered and the breadth of training the students in this program will receive is impressive. With over 30 years experience as a Christian apologist on university campuses, this is exactly the kind of program needed to produce graduates who understand the times and can respond to the relentless attacks against Christianity in a way that honours Christ.”
Dr. Kirk DurstonApologetics Group, Power to Change, Canada

paul_chamberlain“This new program in apologetics is greatly needed across Canada, and indeed throughout all of North America, and I am deeply grateful for it.  The reasoning being employed to argue against Christianity across our continent is increasingly sophisticated, and there is a need for some members of the Christian community to go deep and be especially prepared to respond.  This requires an understanding of the prevailing thought patterns of our culture and also an ability to formulate thoughtful responses to the many challenges being levelled against Christianity today.  Tyndale’s program includes a solid lineup of courses and has been designed to equip students with thinking skills, foundational knowledge in a number of areas necessary for good apologetics, and also apologetic methodology.  It is the kind of academic program which will train students to understand their culture, and give clear and informed replies to arguments which contradict Christian truth claims.”
Dr. Paul Chamberlain, Director, Institute of Christian Apologetics; Professor of Apologetics, Ethics, & Philosophy of Religion, Trinity Western University (ACTS division)

andy_steiger“This program is both theologically and philosophically rich with a depth that is sure to be both challenging and rewarding. Tyndale Philosophy has put together a first rate program that will equip Christians to minister in the church and through the church to the glory of God.”

Andy Steiger, Founder and Director, Apologetics Canada

“Tyndale’s philosophy program is stellar. Not only does it equip apprentices of Jesus for effective campus ministry evangelism and robust discipleship in the church and marketplace, but it also has an important track record of deployment into graduate programs.”

Dr. Corey Miller, President of Ratio Christi: Campus Apologetics Alliance

photo“In Canada, it’s becoming increasingly important for ambassadors of Christ to be able to contend for the faith in the marketplace of ideas. Unfortunately, most Canadian Christians shy away from engaging the culture because they lack a basic knowledge and defense of their faith and values. That’s why I’m so excited about Tyndale Philosophy’s BA with a concentration in Christian Apologetics. Under the guidance and instruction of leading Christian thinkers, like Dr. Davis and Dr. Franks, this program will give students the confidence and courage to destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Cor. 10:5).”
Tim Barnett, Speaker and Apologist, Stand To Reason (Canada)

logan_gates_occa_fellow_bio“This is an excellent program for students looking for a robust philosophical framework for apologetic ministry, as well as a deeper understanding of the Christian faith as it relates to world religions, history, and the arts.”

Logan Gates, Speaker and Apologist, RZIM (Canada)
